CDU boasts finalist success at NT Training Awards 

 
 
CDU VET students are in the running for several NT Training Awards

Some outstanding Charles Darwin University vocational education and training (VET) students have been announced as finalists in the 2012 NT Training Awards.

Eleven CDU VET students are among the Territory’s top apprentices, trainees, and vocational students announced as finalists in the 2012 Awards.

The students will compete in six of the seven student award categories including Trainee of the Year and Austin Asche Apprentice of the Year, as well Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Student of the Year and School-Based Apprentice or Trainee of the Year.

CDU is also in the running for the Training Provider of the Year title.

The awards recognise individuals, businesses and organisations achieving excellence in the field of vocational education and training.

Winners and runners-up will be announced at the annual NT Training Awards gala presentation event to be held at the Darwin Convention Centre, 15 September.
