Sounds of Baroque to fill CDU campus this Sunday 

 
 

Charles Darwin University will host a treat for music lovers this Sunday with “Basically Baroque”, a feast of music from the Baroque era and beyond.

CDU Associate Professor and theme leader of music Martin Jarvis said the concert would feature staff alongside some of CDU’s outstanding students.

“There will be beautiful music by Bach, Vivaldi, Telemann and others,” Dr Jarvis said.

He said the wide range of music would be played on instruments including the lute, harpsichord, flute and guitar, along with song.

“Basically Baroque” hosted by CDU’s School of Creative Arts and Humanities will be held on Sunday, 23 October at 4 pm, CDU Casuarina campus theatre, Building Orange 3.
