New additions to the Casuarina campus will be on show when Charles Darwin University holds its mid-year Orientation tomorrow (Wednesday).
New students will sample campus life as part of the program that includes campus tours, information sessions and a welcome from Vice-Chancellor Professor Barney Glover.
CDU’s new $8.4 million sports and recreational precinct will be open for inspection with activities running throughout the day.
Students will be advised on services available to them, how to use the Internet and library facilities, balancing part-time work and study, and international exchange opportunities.
They will have an opportunity to meet Faculty staff and enjoy refreshments at the end of the information sessions.
Orientation activities will run from 4-7pm in the Mal Nairn Auditorium, CDU’s Casuarina campus. Teaching for semester 2 will begin on Monday, 18 July.
