Students ready for graduation

More than 500 graduands are about to descend on to Charles Darwin University’s Casurina campus to mark the culmination of their university studies.

Some 2100 students will officially graduate as a part of the mid-year ceremony, which recognises the academic achievements of students from both the higher education and vocational education and training sectors.

A total of 17 PhDs will be awarded over two consecutive graduation evenings, which will be held in the Casuarina campus courtyard.

On Thursday, 19 May the ceremony for the Faculty of Law, Business, Education and Arts, Australian Centre for Indigenous Knowledge and Education, and the Trades and Primary Industries Division Business and Service Industries Division will be held.

Friday’s ceremony will recognise graduands from the Faculty of Engineering, Health, Science and the Environment, Institute of Advanced Studies, Community Services, and the Health and Literacy Division.

CDU’s mid-year graduation ceremony will be held from 19-20 May at the Casuarina campus with proceedings starting at 6.30pm.
