Interested members of the community are invited to find out more about a new and dynamic suburb planned for the Palmerston area.
University Village, Durack is a community in the making, in the heart of Charles Darwin University’s Palmerston campus.
All members of the community are invited to attend the Open Day to find out more about University Village, meet the project team and provide feedback at an early stage of planning.
Other festivities as a part of the Open Day will include a sausage sizzle to raise funds for the Durack School, an opportunity to learn about CDU’s course offerings, jumping castles and other family activities.
The project will be jointly delivered by Charles Darwin University (CDU), CIC Australia and Larrakia Development Corporation (LDC). Supporting the delivery partners is an experienced project team, with a wealth of local and national experience.
University Village has been shaped with a vision is to create a sustainable new community, connected to the adjoining residential neighbourhoods and rich in opportunities – opportunities to live, learn, work and create.
The University Village Open Day will be held on Saturday 18 September from 11am till 4pm at CDU’s Palmerston campus.
