Charles Darwin University and Navitas Limited have signed a memorandum of understanding to explore opportunities to develop a co-operative program of educational activities.
Navitas CEO Rod Jones said the company, through its subsidiary the Australian College of English, already enjoyed a good working relationship with the university through the ACL Darwin English Centre.
“Navitas looks forward to building on this existing relationship with the university and to explore ways in which we can work together to develop further educational programs that will be for the betterment of the local community.”
CDU Vice-Chancellor, Professor Barney Glover said the memorandum of understanding was a natural development in the university’s relationship with Navitas.
“We are looking forward to exploring over the next six months a range of programs and opportunities with a view to developing education and training outcomes for a wide range of people both in the Territory and in our immediate region,” Professor Glover said.
