National depression survey open to students

Researchers from the School of Psychology at the University of Western Australia are recruiting volunteers to participate in the Australian Student Depression Attitudes Survey (ASDAS).

ASDAS investigates students' attitudes towards depression, which is one of the most common mental health problems experienced by university students, and its treatment.

The survey is open to university students throughout Australia, regardless of whether they have personally experienced depression.

The online survey is anonymous and takes about 10 minutes.

As a further incentive, students who participate in the study are eligible to enter a draw to win one of three $100 gift vouchers.

The study is being coordinated by researchers at UWA, and has been approved by the UWA Human Research and Ethics Committee.
