CDU’s Alice Springs campus recently hosted the annual Business at Sunset event, an NT Chamber of Commerce initiative designed to allow members to meet and network in a relaxed, informal setting.
More than 40 people turned out for the evening event held at the Desert Lantern training restaurant.
Delivering the welcome address was CDU Vice-Chancellor, Professor Barney Glover who spoke of the strong partnership between CDU and industry and how CDU targeted courses to directly fill industry requirements.
Professor Glover also talked of CDU’s unique focus and passion for Indigenous education and employment outcomes.
He also announced the planned infrastructure expansion on the Alice Springs Campus including brand new student accommodation.
