CDU‘s People Management and Development (PMD) division has launched the first stage of their latest module, e-Recruitment.
Launched today, e-Recruitment is set to streamline the recruitment process, providing clients and candidates with a more timely and reliable service.
This first stage of e-Recruitment includes
• posting vacancies online;
• candidate data entry and application attachment through the web;
• internal applications through StaffOnline;
• electronic transfer of documents between recruitment consultants and chairs of selection panels;
• sourcing casual and temporary staff online; and
• monitoring of, and reporting on, all candidates for collection of statistics and workforce planning.
PMD General Manager, Human Resources Operations, Dr Janis Shaw said that until further development was undertaken, staff will be required to continue to submit a ‘Request for Recruitment Action’ as a paper based form.
“Later stages will include the development of e-forms for clients to request recruitment action online, as well as short-listing reports to generate interviews and panel recommendations,” she said.
“PMD has given some demonstrations to a number of different groups around the University, and will be happy to visit your team or provide one-on-one assistance.”
Please contact PMD reception on ext 6904 or Antonio Senga on ext 6565, for a demonstration or require other assistance.
