Practical applications of Information and Communications Technologies (ICT) in education and related industries will be the theme of a three day online event to be hosted by Charles Darwin University.
MobilizeThis 2008 organisers are calling for presenters who have positive practical applications of ICT's in education in a cross-sectorial program.
Multimedia Lecturer and Symposium convenor, Bill Wade said the Symposium would be a breakthrough event that would also have a particular theme for people engaged with youth, especially in the Creative Arts.
“We are looking for presenters and are particularly interested in themes, platform and timing and how they relate to our audience,” he said.
This online event, to be held from 22-24 October, will include workshops and will also be live in and from the Mal Mairn Auditorium. CDU will form the hub for communication cross-roads.
Anyone who is interested in joining as a Presenter needs to provide Alex Hayes (mail@alexanderhayes.com) with a theme to contribute to the list, contact name and a web based presence that we can point to from their linked name.
Presenters can be individuals, groups, networks or organisations in a panel style.
Sessions are limited to 60 minutes and will be capped at the discretion of the presenter.
