Nominations for the Northern Territory Young Achiever Awards, acknowledging, encouraging and promoting the positive achievements of young Territorians aged between 14 and 26, are now open.
The awards recognise the achievements of the Territory’s youth in eight categories:
Community Service
Arts
Sport
Environment
Career Achievement
Science and Engineering
Regional and Rural Initiative
Excellence in Youth Leadership
Charles Darwin University is a supporter of the Northern Territory Young Achiever Awards and sponsors the Charles Darwin University Arts Award.
The CDU Arts Award celebrates young Territorians’ artistic achievements and recognises the imagination, initiative and flair required to produce such inspirational work.
Nominations close on Friday, 28 November, with the awards presentation taking place on 28 March 2009.
