Charles Darwin University’s Stephen Say has been recognised for his outstanding service to the Northern Territory’s plumbing industry.

Mr Say, Team Leader, Building, Drafting and Construction, was presented with the Steve Coombes Memorial Award during the 2008 Territory Construction Associations (TCA) Excellence Awards held on Sunday, 17 August.

The Steve Coombes Memorial Award acknowledges the professionalism and quality of work performed by any member within the plumbing industry of the NT.

Members of the Master Plumbers Association voted Mr Say the deserving winner for 2008 in recognition of his reputation for workmanship, excellence, integrity and for his contribution to the plumbing industry and training.

The annual Building and Construction Excellence Awards recognise the best projects undertaken by the NT Building and Construction industry each year.

Sponsored by the NT Government's Department of Business, Economic and Regional Development this year, the awards are an opportunity for the industry to be recognised for its achievements.
