Andrew Taylor and Kim Johnstone will present seminars on Friday 8 August from 12pm.
In his seminar, ‘Demographic change in the 21st Century: Issues and challenges for our region’, Andrew explores the key elements associated with demography research covering the NT’s Indigenous populous and projection results presented at the 14th Bienniel Australian Population Association conference in Alice Springs in June.
Kim is a PhD student enrolled with the Australian Demographic and Social Research Institute at the Australian National University, and is linked with work conducted by population experts, Dr Dean Carson and Professor Tony Barnes at the School for Social and Policy Research.
In her seminar, ‘Indigenous fertility in the Northern Territory’, she presents an overview of her first year of PhD research.
