Dr Helen Harper presents ‘Educational reform and teaching grammar: What we can learn from Bakhtin and his dialogic pedagogy’, on Friday 30 May from 12pm to 1pm.
Helen’s presentation will examine the case for the importance of grammar in effective literacy pedagogy. She will look at literary Russian theorist Mikhail Bakhtin’s approach to the use of grammar for teaching literacy in a powerful way.
Helen is with CDU’s School for Social and Policy Research.
