Dr Gary Robinson presents ‘Working with children and families: Models for school-based early intervention on the Tiwi Islands and in Darwin’, on Friday 2 May from 12pm to 1pm.
In his seminar Professor Robinson will explore aspects of Aboriginal family organisation, the role of parents and sources of risk for children.
Drawing on material from the Ngaripirliga’ajirri and Let’s Start early intervention programs, Professor Robinson will outline possibilities for engagement of parents and some of the challenges of supportive early intervention.
This seminar takes place in room 1, building 23 (C23.01/Blue 5.1.01), Casuarina campus, and will be video-conferenced through room 15.1.02, Alice Springs campus.
