As a CDU staff member, when you log on to your computer on Friday, November 28, a cyclone splash screen will appear automatically.
The screen will carry web addresses to ensure all staff are prepared in the event of cyclonic activity developing this season. A similar splash screen has been rolled out in the student computer labs.
The screens are part of the CDU-wide, cyclone preparation activity. Other communication initiatives include a “cyclone news” button located at the bottom right corner of the CDU homepage.
In the event of cyclonic conditions being declared, this button will be used to announce any changes to the University’s operating hours.
News on the site will be updated at 10am and 4pm daily during cyclonic events.
