The Charles Darwin University (CDU) Bookshop is joint winner of the Australian book industry award for the 2007 APA Small/Regional Campus Bookstore of the Year in Sydney.
The award, presented on 15 November, recognises excellent service, efficient systems, and a range of books that meets the needs of students and staff.
This is the first time an award for small and regional university campus bookstores has been presented at the awards and was won jointly with the Charles Sturt Co-op Bookshop.
Assistant Director of CDU’s Commercial Units, Megan Nevett said the award recognised the many years of hard work and commitment from numerous staff working towards a common goal of excellence.
The awards are presented annually by the Australian Publishers Association.
