The Centre for Youth Music Pandanus Performers open their season of the musical Young Hercules tonight, Wednesday, 28 November.
This light hearted entertaining musical is based on the adventures of Herclues and his friend Iolaus, who defy overwhelming odds to complete six tasks set by the Goddess Hera, wife of Zeus. Each task is dangerous and full of challenges.
Young Hercules is a great adventure story, and the use of modern techniques and language has an instant appeal for both the actors and the audience. This musical is suitable for adults and children and will make an entertaining evening out.

Pandanus Performers is made up of a number of different choral groups who have combined for this performance. This Centre for Youth Music Vocal Development program offers opportunities for children to join one of four different choirs which cater for all children, ages six to 18.
Performances of Young Hercules will be held on Wednesday 28 and Friday 30 November at 7.30pm with a matinee performance on Saturday 1 December at 2pm in the Theatre, building 17, Casuarina Campus, Charles Darwin University.
Tickets are available at the door – adults $7; concession $4; family $20 (two adults, two children).
