Aspiring psychologists can kick-start their studies over summer with Charles Darwin University (CDU) offering the Bachelor of Behavioural Science externally during this Summer Semester.
CDU is one of only a few institutions Australia-wide to offer psychology externally.
Psychology lecturer, Dr Mary Morris said that the Bachelor of Behavioural Science was structured to provide students with the opportunity to pursue their interest in psychology and positively impact people’s lives in a variety of ways.
“We attempt to understand the role human behaviour plays in social environments while incorporating physiological and neurological processes into its conceptions of mental functioning,” she said.
For the first time, CDU is offering admission in Summer Semester so that people can start their degree early, fast-track their studies if enrolled already, or to pick up subjects through cross-institutional enrolment.
CDU is the only university in the Northern Territory and South Australia offering this unique Summer Semester intake, providing the perfect opportunity to speed up progress toward graduation, meet prerequisite requirements, or simply to catch up on that missed unit.
