Drifting

At the age of 87 Edgar Dunis will be having his first solo exhibition, Drifting.

On show will be part of a collection of hundreds of sculptures made over the years from driftwood Edgar salvaged and saved from beaches and mangroves around Fannie Bay after Cyclone Tracy in 1974.

Charles Darwin University is pleased to present this wonderful collection of works from one of Darwin’s founding visual artists and a generous supporter of emerging artists studying at CDU.

Please join us for drinks in this celebration of a lifetime’s worth of works.

This exhibition will be showing from 7-29 September, and will be opened on Thursday 6 September, 6.00pm by CDU Chancellor, Mr Richard Ryan AO. All are welcome.
