Short course - Health aspects of disaster 

 
 

Associate Professor David Cooper and guest speakers present the short course: ‘Health aspects of disaster’, from 10-14 September.

This course will have broad appeal and is designed for:

  • Health managers
  • Clinicians from all specialty areas
  • Postgraduate students

And is based on the course developed by the School of Population Health (SPH), University of Queensland (UQ). The Charles Darwin University course is
supported by UQ and is recognised as an elective unit for the Public Health Coursework Program.

The cost of the five day short course as follows:

  • 5 day short course (no assessment):
    • $990
  • 5 day short course (with assessment):
    • $1200 domestic student
    • $1845 international student

Lunch, morning and afternoon tea will be provided daily.

The course is organised by the Graduate School for Health Practice and Menzies School of Health Research, CDU; School of Population Health, University of Queensland; and the Centre for Military and Veterans Health, University of Queensland and University of Adelaide.
