Carmen comes to Darwin

Australian Post is principal sponsor of OzOpera's Carmen, performing in Darwin on 18 August

In its 10th year of national touring, OzOpera presents Carmen on August 18 – the opera with everything: romance, passion, humour, sex, and death, not to mention some of the greatest music ever composed.

This new production of Carmen is created by director Adam Cook (now Artistic Director of the State Theatre Company, South Australia) and designer Stephen Curtis (Opera Australia's The Cunning Little Vixen and Lulu), the same team that brought OzOpera's La bohème to 40,000 people across Australia.

OzOpera is well-travelled in Australia and widely experienced by audiences of all ages; half of their audience is under 55 years. All Oz Opera shows are affordable, and sung in English.
