The School of Creative Arts and Humanities is pleased to present an exhibition by CDU visual arts, multimedia and design staff exploring contemporary responses to drawing.
On the wall is an honest reflection of practices undertaken by CDU staff, exploring the relevance of drawing as a source for ideas, process of experimentation,method of survey and primary medium for artworks.
On the wall provides the counterpoint between old and new technologies and provides and insight into the makers decisions. Curator Sarah Pirrie examines the function of drawing as an interdisciplinary practice that has relevance in all our lives and areas of study.
Whether it be a pragmatic sketch for communication purposes or a subconscious doodle or scribble everyone draws.
This exhibition will be showing from 20-27 July, in The Gallery, Building 12 CDU, Casuarina Campus.
The exhibition will open on Friday 20 July, 5.30pm.
