Charles Darwin University’s Graduate School for Health Practice and Menzies School of Health Research, in conjunction with the University of Queensland and the University of Adelaide, are proud to offer the short course: Health Aspects of Disaster.
This short course is based on the course developed by the School of Population Health, University of Queensland, and is designed for health managers, clinicians from all specialty areas and postgraduate students.
The short course will have significant inputs from academic, health, military, civilian and non-government organisations in both case studies of particular disasters and important themes in health aspects of disasters.
The course will also include case studies of recent disasters, presented by those with direct experience of these situations, and practical exercises.
The short course will be held from 10-14 September 2007 at CDU’s Casuarina Campus.
