Stephen Dovers presents ‘Environmental policy integration: Trends and issues in Australia’, on Friday 15 June from 1pm to 2pm.

Stephen’s seminar presents findings from a Land and Water Australia funded research project which examined environmental policy integration mechanisms in several Australian state and territory jurisdictions.

Stephen Dovers is a prominent Australian researcher and writer in the areas of environmental policy, institutional arrangements for sustainability, science-policy linkages, emergency management, and environmental history.

His recent books include the co-edited volumes New dimensions in ecological economics (Edward Elgar 2003) and Managing Australia’s environment (Federation Press 2003), and the recent monograph Environment and sustainability policy: creation, implementation, evaluation (Federation Press 2005).
