Sunday Serenade, the next performance in Charles Darwin University’s 2007 concert series, will be held on June 3 commencing at 3pm.
This concert features exciting and seldom heard works for various chamber ensembles, including guitar duets by Australian composers Richard Charlton and Phillip Houghton, old English folk music for guitar and voice and a much loved cameo piece Andante in C by Mozart for flute and piano. In addition, a rarely performed work by Joseph Kreutzer for guitar, flute and clarinet will be presented.
Performers include staff members and friends of the School of Creative Arts and Humanities including eminent guitarist Adrian Walter with Stephan Bulmer (guitar), clarinettist Stephen Pevely, Janusz Kwasny on flute, Rebecca Harris on cello, and Pianist Chen Hui, along with vocal performances by Kathy Banks, Lucy Neville and Penny Banks.
Tickets are available at the door – adults $15, concession, $10, children/U3A $7.
Sunday Serenade will be held in the Charles Darwin University Theatre (building 17), Casuarina Campus.
