Brett Kelly will be guest conductor of DSO's Night at the Opera

ConocoPhillips presents the Darwin Symphony Orchestra’s Night at the Opera at SkyCity Casino Lawns on Saturday 26 May.

Night at the Opera opens the DSO’s outdoor season for 2007 and features music from grand opera and music theatre. Special guest artist will be the tenor Rosario la Spina who sang with the DSO last November in Verdi’s Requiem. He also starred in the Rigoletto production that formed part of Operatunity on ABC television.

Rosario la Spina will be joined by another favourite of Darwin audiences, Dimitri Kopanakis. Brett Kelly, principle trombone player of the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra, will be guest conductor.

Gates open at 5.30pm – admission $22 adults, $20 concession, $10 children. No bookings – door sales only at SkyCity on the night.
