The 16th National Vocational Education and Training Research Conference, 'No Frills', considered one of the best value events on the VET research calendar, will be held from in Alice Springs from 11-13 July 2007.
The conference aims to bring together staff involved or interested in education and training research from TAFE institutes, universities and private organisations.
In keeping with the no frills approach, the conference offers an ideal opportunity for participants to network and share, discuss and present current and recently completed work in a relaxed and informal environment.
This year’s program highlights include a special presentation of the findings from the NCVER Research Forum and a new theme focusing on building research capacity in the VET sector by incorporating activities focused on the professional development of VET researchers.
Visit the 16th National VET Research Conference (No Frills) website for more information about presenting (including and a new initiative aimed at encouraging new researchers to present a paper) and attending.
The conference takes place at Charles Darwin University’s Alice Springs Campus in the Northern Territory.
A full program will be available to registered delegates prior to the conference.
