Artist's forum - Elka Kerkhofs 

 
 

Belgian-born Elka Kelkhofs will present the next School of Creative Arts and Humanities artist’s forum on Tuesday 13 March from 12.15pm to 1pm.

Elka has participated in many artistic projects in Darwin, including the new media labs ‘Fusion Strength’ (a collaboration between Singaporean and Darwin artists), ‘Box Set’ and more recently ‘Videodromo 1.5’ (with artists from WA and the NT) at 24HR Art.

Elka has a Master in Visual Arts (Photography) and Diploma in Contemporary Music. In 2000 she started a production company with Karen Maxwell, Karelka Productions, creating short films and multimedia theatre shows. One of these, Miss Tackle Goes to Europe has been screened on SBS Eat Carpet.
