A leading project manager with experience in the nuclear industry will be a guest lecturer at Charles Darwin University’s Casuarina Campus.
Garry Seaborne, Project Director for the Australian Synchrotron Project, will lecture in the new Project Management unit on Thursday, March 8.
The newly introduced unit is a core unit in both the Bachelor of Business and the Bachelor of Engineering degrees.
Seaborne, who has project managed the two biggest scientific infrastructure projects in Australia’s recent history - the Australian Synchrotron at Clayton in Melbourne and the OPAL Nuclear Reactor at Lucas Heights in Sydney - will explain the methods used to successfully deliver a number of complex projects.
A qualified engineer, his resume includes project management of the Anzac Frigates for the Navy.
Guests are welcome to the lecture in 24.01 at 1pm on Thursday.
