New improved quality arrangements for vocational education and training will come into place in Australia from 1 July 2007.
Information sessions will be held across Australia in February and March to:
• Give you an overview of the new arrangements, and
• Explain what it will mean for your clients and stakeholders.
Speakers at the information sessions will include those who have been working on the design of the new arrangements – and these will include representatives of State and Territory governments and registering bodies, the Australian Government, and organisations representing training providers and industry.
If you meet the AQTF standards, you are likely to have in place all the basics for meeting the requirements, but AQTF 2007 will give you better opportunities for showing the quality of your core business - learning and assessment.
The information sessions will give you an opportunity to clarify your understandings of:
- Revised essential standards for registration
- An outcomes based approach to audit
- The opportunity to have your high quality performance formally recognised
Information sessions in the Northern Territory will be held:
Darwin: 2nd April 2007 in the Litchfield Room, Holiday Inn Darwin 1pm-5pm
Alice Springs: 4th April 2007, Ballroom A, Crowne Plaza Alice Springs, 1pm-5pm
