2007 Australian Museum Eureka Prizes

Nominations and entries for the Australian Museum Eureka Prizes are now open.

The Eureka Prizes are Australia’s largest single award program for science with 20 prizes totaling over $200,000.

Charles Darwin University Deputy Vice-Chancellor Research, Professor Bob Wasson, said that he would like to see as many applicants as possible for these prizes from the relevant schools.

‘The Australian Museum Eureka Prizes are Australia’s premier award scheme for outstanding science, and it would be great to see a substantial CDU presence throughout the categories,’ he said.

The Eureka Prizes reward excellence in the fields of scientific research and innovation, science leadership, school science and science journalism and communication.

Closing date for nominations is 4 May 2007.
