Find out more about this fantastic environmental leadership opportunity for young Territorians during Youth Week '07!

Youth LEAD is an award winning national youth environmental leadership and social enterprise program for young people aged 15 to 25 years.

Young Territorians living in the Top End will benefit from this highly regarded youth leadership program, which starts with a three day workshop and action planning residential at Goanna Park Youth Camp on 20 to 22 April. Following the workshop, participants are supported through regular catch-ups and mentoring to progress their action plans and projects.

The Office of Youth Affairs, Department of the Chief Minister, in partnership with the Department of Natural Resources, Environment and the Arts is coordinating the Youth LEAD program on behalf of Oz GREEN.

Oz GREEN facilitates life changing learning and leadership programs for sustainability and enables people to harness their inner wisdom, creativity and intelligence to build pathways to an ecologically sustainable future. Oz GREEN engages, equips, and enables young people to take action on environmental and social issues of concern to them.

A representative from Oz GREEN will visit Darwin to promote the program to the community. Representatives from high schools, community groups, young people, potential supporters and mentors are invited to the following information session:

When: Thursday, 1 March 2007
