The new bakery on Charles Darwin University’s (CDU) Palmerston Campus is almost complete, with certification and commissioning for building, structural and mechanical being finalised, and electrical certificates already received.
Arafura Catering Equipment have delivered and installed the bakery equipment, which is separate to the construction contract.
The builders have undertaken their final clean up, and CDU staff gave the building a final inspection and sign-off at the end of last week.
Specialist’s have commissioned the bakery equipment and provided lecturing staff with a run down on usage.
Landscaping will begin once the building has been handed over.
