Charles Darwin University (CDU) tourism and business students will host a masquerade fundraising dinner on 7 June from 6pm at Karawa restaurant.
The dinner aims to create awareness and develop and strengthen ties between the University and the Palmerston Business Community.
The masquerade dinner will allow students to showcase their organisational abilities, employee worth and value to prospective employers within the local area business and industry community of Palmerston and surrounds.
Students studying tourism and business courses at the Palmerston campus work in the virtual environment of the Travel Gateway Practice Firm. The business partner of Travel Gateway is the Northern Gateway group of companies.
Money raised will assist CDU tourism and business students to attend an international trade fair in 2007. The trade fair will provide the students with a great opportunity to network with practice firms from all over the world as well as learn about business practices and systems.
The Palmerston Business community is invited to attend this dinner and help support the students.
Cost is $30 per ticket – tickets are available by contacting Tracey on 08 8946 7842.
Dress in Territory formal attire.
