Dr John Haynes has been appointed Head of School and Senior Professor, Information Technology, and commenced April 24.
Dr Haynes has most recently been a Visiting Full Professor with the College of Business Administration, University of Central Florida, Orlando in the United States.
He has a PhD in Information Systems and Applied Artificial Intelligence which he gained in 1998 from Bond University in Queensland.
He has published a number of papers and books and presented numerous public lectures within the area of Information Technology in the United States.
