Dr Philippa Binns presents ‘Cervical screening in the Northern Territory: participation and follow-up’, on Monday, 24 April, from 12pm to 1pm.
Dr Binns’ project investigated regional and Indigenous cervical screening participation and time to accessing follow-up after an abnormal smear between 1997 and 2004, using linked data from the NT Pap Smear Register, Top End Gynaecology Outreach Service database and the NT Cancer Register.
Dr Binns is with the National Centre for Epidemiology and Population Health, Australian National University, ACT and Centre for Disease Control, Department of Health and Community Services, Darwin.
