The Charles Darwin University Alice Springs campus Library is inviting staff, students and the community to start snapping entries for its National Library Week Photo Competition.
Shutterbugs are challenged to capture an image of the Library which reflects what it means to them and perhaps shows an interesting or vibrant aspect of Library life.
There is an under 20s and over 20s category and multiple entries are welcome.
The competition closes on 12 May. Each photo must be accompanied by an entry form, which can be obtained from the Library or by emailing alice.library@cdu.edu.au.
All entries will be displayed in the Alice Springs campus Library during Australian Library and Information Week, 22-27 May 2006.
The winning entries will receive gift vouchers from local businesses.
They’ll also gain national exposure as part of the Celebrating Australian Libraries in Pictures display at CLICK06, the Australian Library and Information Association 2006 Biennial Conference in Perth in September.
