Call for applications for 2006 NT History Grants

Applications are now open for the 2006 NT History Grants, which encourage and support the work of researchers recording and writing about Northern Territory history particularly covering areas not already researched.

Individuals, societies and community organisations are eligible to apply for 2006 NT History Grants.

The total annual allocation for the grants program is $50 000. Single grants may range from $500 to $7000.

The Northern Territory History Grants were established by the Northern Territory Government to commemorate the attainment of self-government on 1 July 1978.

The grants are administered by the Northern Territory Archives Service (NTAS). The Director of the NTAS is the Executive Officer of the History Grants program.

Find out more about the grants at the NT Archives Services website or download an application form.
