Enrolled students are being encouraged to submit their scholarship applications before the closing deadline on Friday 10 March 2006.
Scholarships Officer Leah Richardson wants all students to find out if they are eligible for scholarships.
“Despite some perceptions, scholarships aren’t just awarded to ‘bright’ students. Most often they are awarded based on financial difficulty, for those living in specific locations and for certain areas of study,” Leah said.
“Most Higher Education and VET students who look at the scholarships on offer should find at least one that might apply to them,” she said.
The scholarships are easy to apply for and can be downloaded from the Charles Darwin University website.
