The 2006 VET Induction Seminars which are designed for new academic staff will be held in early February.
The seminars cover a range of topics including;
- An overview of the VET system
- AQTF requirements
- Administration requirements
- Profile and Funding
- Resources
All new academic staff should note it is a requirement of the VET quality system that new staff with VET responsibilities attend a VET Seminar.
Seminar 1 will be held at Alice Springs campus on Thursday, February 2, between 1pm and 3pm in the library seminar room.
Seminar 2 will be held at Casuarina campus on Monday, February 6, between 2pm and 4pm in building 24:06.
The Casuarina VET Seminar will be linked to staff at Jabiru, Katherine, Tennant Creek and Nhulunbuy, however, Palmerston staff will be required to attend the Casuarina campus on the day.
