Territory born and bred NTU graduate, Leon Cholsh, has been lucky enough to use his tertiary qualifications to follow his life long passion.
A graduate in the Bachelor of Law at the former Northern Territory University (now Charles Darwin University), Leon‘s interest in corporate governance has taken him to a successful position with the South Australian Government.
Now with the Australian Rail Track Corporation, Leon was adamant about what he wanted to study.
‘I chose my course as I wanted to practice law in the Territory and it’s really one of the only places you feel like you can make a difference.
‘My interests have always been in corporate governance and legal counsel roles and my course at NTU gave me a great foundation to pursue these interests,’ he said.
Leon credits his success at NTU to the support and efforts of past lecturers and fellow students.
A Territory history buff, Leon hopes to one day return to the Territory to practice and trade stories with some of his life long friends from Uni House at Myilly Point and Casuarina Campus.
