The University’s 2007 Higher Education admissions campaign has recently commenced.
Executive Director Corporate Services, Dr Scott Snyder, explained that the Charles Darwin University 2007 campaign reflected the idea of making your own decisions.
“The corporate television commercial featuring the ‘smart ant’ has been running on local and national television with the message that emphasises intelligence and smart decisions for your future,” said Dr Snyder.
“We are looking to promote CDU’s strengths in a number of areas, including undergraduate and postgraduate degrees, the Tertiary Enabling Program for people who have been out of study or did not complete high school, recognition of previous vocational education and training, Indigenous entry and specialist research areas.
“There are also some places available for students to undertake advanced postgraduate courses using HECS-HELP.”
The University has seen an increase in students enrolling from interstate, looking to combine the Territory ‘experience’ with nationally-accredited education. However, the University continues to guarantee entry to Northern Territory school leavers ranked in the top 20 per cent.
On-time applications for undergraduate courses close on September 29, applications for undergraduate courses received after this date will need to pay a late fee. Postgraduate applicants should apply by December 8.
