Geoff Masel Aviation Law Prize 2007 

 
 

Essay submissions for the Geoff Masel Aviation Law Prize 2007 are now open.

In 2004 the Aviation Law Association of Australia and New Zealand (ALAANZ) created a prize in memory of the late Geoff Masel.

The objects of the prize are to promote the advancement of knowledge, understanding, research and study of aviation law in Australia and New Zealand.

The Council of ALAANZ announce that the Geoff Masel Aviation Law Prize for 2007 will be awarded for the best paper submitted by a student on a subject relating to aviation or space law or the law of aviation insurance.

The essay must be not less than 5,000 and not more than 10,000 words. Entrants are required to submit their paper (three copies) to the ALAANZ Secretariat no later than 5.00pm on 29 December 2006.

The winner will be announced in early February 2007 and will be invited to attend the Annual Conference of ALAANZ in Brisbane where the prize will be presented.
