Market research conducted by Corporate Communications on the Higher Education Courses and Careers Night has further illustrated the overall success of the evening.
This year’s information night attracted in excess of 80 people and included sessions answering all the questions prospective students and their parents had about studying and life at Charles Darwin University.
The evaluation was aimed at and identified key information including the demographic of attendees, effectiveness of marketing activities and measuring satisfaction levels towards sessions and activities.
Key comments on the evening included:
“The event was very well organised with useful information provided at the sessions.”
“The event was pleasant, inviting and informative.”
“Very well done – I enjoyed the entire evening and leant more about CDU.”
One of the most encouraging figures was a 91 per cent positive response to whether the event had influenced respondents to pursue studying at CDU.
The information gained has also identified areas of improvement which will assist Corporate Communications in planning future courses and careers nights.
Congratulations are also in order for Shannon Bonney, the winner of the Higher Education Courses and Careers Night survey. Shannon, a prospective student in the Bachelor of Education, has won an iPod shuffle.
