Charles Darwin University’s (CDU) Faculty of Law, Business and Arts has successfully established a partnership with CEO Online and the International Institute of Directors and Managers (IIDM).
The partnership, which came to fruition earlier this year, offers CDU students a valuable teaching and learning resource, which includes articles and case studies, online business networks, CEOTV’s inspirational stories from business leaders, on-demand audio seminars and many other features to help students become ‘job-ready’.
Joanne Neely, general manager CEO Online, commented on the partnership and the opportunities that it represents.
“CEO Online is a 24/7 global centre of learning, which will provide CDU students with the latest in management thinking from around the world,” she said.
“There are many aspects to the relationship, but the benefits of this partnership for CDU students are the most exciting. Naturally we consider the information provided by CEO Online and IIDM a fantastic and practical resource for students and one which is readily accessible to them via the CDU library website.”
Head of school, Law and Business, Dennis Clark also commented on the generous donation: “Importantly, the Faculty is investing in its students. Normally a subscription fee valued at over $200 per annum would apply, but due to this partnership students pay absolutely nothing,” he said.
“This is a very special opportunity and one not readily available to students at other universities throughout Australia.”
