Get your dancing shoes ready and dust off that frock and tie for the Bastille Day Ball on 14 July!
Bastille Day is French national day, the anniversary of the taking of the Bastille Jail as a symbol of an oppressive regime on 14 July 1789. The day symbolises the beginning of democracy in France and Europe.
Tickets are still available for the Alliance Francaise Annual Dinner Dance to be held at the Coastal Marine Park, Stokes Hill Wharf, starting 7pm.
Ticket prices include a three course French banquet, wine, beer and spirits, full orchestra, cabaret dancers and many prizes.
