Name and gain

The Charles Darwin University (CDU) People Management division (PMD) is holding a staff-wide competition to name its new software training package.

Following on from the newly implemented Staff Professional Development Course Calendar for 2006, the online staff development training package offers yet another dimension to CDU staff development.

PMD is looking for a catchy and innovative name for the online package, one which will have us all talking at the water coolers.

The winning name will earn its author a $100 gift voucher to spend on any item at the Casuarina Campus bookshop.

The training package is a flexible learning tool for the delivery of IT, PC, management, interpersonal and professional development skills training.

All entries must be forwarded to Staff.PD@cdu.edu.au by COB Wednesday 12 July with the winner to be announced in e-news on 17 July.

The Staff Professional Development Course Calendar for 2006 is now in full swing and the division is currently taking professional development course nominations.

To register, email Staff.PD@cdu.edu.au, ensuring you specify the course name and instance.
