The Palmerston GP Super Clinic will have a new CEO in the New Year.
The appointment of Ms Robyn Cahill, who is currently a senior executive with the NT Department of Health, is being made with the support of the Department of Health.
The medical facility is operated by FCD Health Ltd, a joint initiative of Charles Darwin University and Flinders University.
The Chair of FCD Health, Mr Austin Taylor, said Ms Cahill would oversee the next phase of the clinic’s development. It was opened in October 2010.
“Ms Cahill has extensive experience at the highest levels in the health sector and also has a deep knowledge of the Northern Territory’s health needs,” Mr Taylor said.
“We are delighted that she will take up the position, which will be for up to 12 months,” he said.
