The signing of a partnership agreement is set to expand Charles Darwin University’s course offerings available to international students in the Sydney area.

The Northern Territory-based CDU and Macquarie Education Group Australia (MEGA) have officially signed a partnership agreement which will see MEGA deliver two CDU bachelor courses and one master degree course.

MEGA will deliver the Bachelor of Accounting, Bachelor of Commerce and Masters of Business Administration Evolve from MEGA’s Sydney campus from semester one 2012.

Project Manager and CDU Associate Professor in Business, Dr Darius Pfitzner said it was a huge shot in the arm for the institution to be partnering with such a respected and renowned education provider.

“The partnership is set to not only increase enrolments in these courses, but more importantly, increase the profile and reach of CDU interstate,” he said.

“MEGA will provide a number of services such as teaching and learning facilities and infrastructure, marketing, recruitment, student welfare, support and counselling services.”

Dr Pfitzner said the MEGA Macquarie Grammar School Year 12 and VET courses in Business would also act as feeder programs for CDU undergraduate courses.
